Market was pretty steady today,
with quality being average. There
was a good run of straw again with
a good steady market.
Fran lost her handbag while
shopping. It was found by an
honest boy & returned to her.
Looking in her purse, Fran
said, *Hmmm, there was a $20
bill in here & now there are
20 single bills.* Johnny quickly
replies, *That*s right, lady. Last
time I found a lady*s purse, she
didn*t have change for a reward.*

Market steady across sthe board today,
Quality and buyer attendance good.
My husband decided to install a light
switch in our master bedroom. Cutting
into the wall, he discovered a stash of
bottles and boxes. Honey, he called excitedly,
Come see what I found. I ran in and quickly
realized that his next task would be to fix
the hole he had made in the back of our
medicine cabinet.

board today.
Sue meant to call a record store
but dialed a wrong number &
got a private home instead. *Do
you have *Eyes of Blue* & *A
Love Supreme?* Sue asks. *Well,
no,* answered the puzzled man.
But I have a wife & 11 children.*
*Is that a record?* Sue inquired
puzzled in return. *I do not think
so, but it is as close as I want to
get,* said the man.

Light run today with market uneven. Buyers out in fields chopping crops!
Sister Mary worked for a home health agency. Visiting homebound patients, she ran out of gas. Luckily, a gas station was just a block away - to which she walked, asking to borrow a gas can and buy gas. The owner said his only gas can had just been loaned out, but she could wait until it was returned. The nun walked back to her car and looked for something in her car that she could fill with gas and spotted the bedpan she was taking to a patient. Being a resourceful nun, she carried the bedpan to the station, filled it with gas and carried the bed pan back to her car. As she was pouring the gas in her tank, 2 men watched across the street. One turned to the other and said, "If it starts, I'm turning Catholic."
