Maxine says, *I was in the restaurant
yesterday when I suddenly realized I
desperately needed to pass gas.  The
music was really, REALLY loud, so I timed
my gas with the beat of the music.  After a
couple of songs, I started to feel better.  I
finished my coffee and noticed everybody
was staring at me...Then I suddenly remem-
bered I was listening to my iPod....

The sale was steady to strong, but not enough here to
really test the market.  The forecast kept MANY
people away, but the weather actually turned out better
than forecast...it is COLD and we have some wind after
it snowed off and on all weekend.  Tomorrow morning
might be worse with wind and more snow!

Government surveyors came to McGill's farm homestead
north of the Valley and asked if they could do some surveying. 
Paul agreed and his mom even served them a nice meal at noon. 
Just recently the two surveyors stopped by and told Paul,
*Because you were so kind to us, we wanted to give you this bad
news in person instead of by letter.  After our work we discovered
your farm is not in Iowa, but is actually in Minnesota!*  Paul looked
at his mom and said, *That is the best news I have heard in a long
time; I just said this morning, I do not think I can take another winter
in Iowa!*  Another mini we caught: *Last week the groundhog saw his shadow, meaning 6 more weeks of winter.  That is good news. I was beginning to think winter would last until May.*  Duane Behrens.

Brian, the gynecologist, became fed up with
malpractice insurance & HMO paperwork & decided
to become a mechanic.  Off to a tech school to take
classes he went & learned all he could.  The practical
final exam was taken & Brian was surprised to find he had
gotten a score of 150%.  Fearing an error, he called the
instructor to ask if there was an error in his grade.  The
teacher said absolutely not!  *Taking the engine apart
perfectly was worth 50%.  Putting it back to gather
perfectly was worth 50% which equaled an A for you.
But I gave you an extra 50% because you did it all
through the muffler which I have never seen in my entire
career!*
