Market was steady to strong,
especially on grass. Quality was
average. Do not forget Monday
sales have also begun.
John, an engineer at an aircraft
company, works for a woman
supervisor. An active member of
women*s lib groups, Sue often
shows up at work wearing buttons
featuring feminist slogans. One
day, her latest button, *Adam was
a rough draft,* proved too much
for John. The next day, he showed
up at work sporting his own
button: *Eve was no prime rib.*

At a private school, there was a problem.
12 yr. old girls just beginning to use lipstick,
would use the bathroom to apply it & then
press their lips to the mirror leaving all kinds
of lip prints. The maintenance man was sick
of removing them & asked the principal to
gather the girls in the bathroom so he could
demonstrate how difficult it was to clean
those mirrors. He took a long handled
squeegee, dipped it in the toilet & made a
great show of cleaning the mirror with it.
Since then, there have been no lip prints
on the mirror. There are teachers and then
there are educators!!

his 4 yr. old Sally decided she needed
a baby brother. Mom Sue told her it
was a good idea, but they should
wait till daddy was home. Little Sally
had a better idea. *Why don't we
just surprise him?*

Slow day! Most of Rock Valley is at the
state semi-finals where for the first time in
RV's football history, the team, BH-RV,
is playing this afternoon. Farmers are also
still scrambling in their fields: baling/harvesting.

Today the market was stronger with
good hay to sell!

American soldier.* Many people were
outraged at the thought of such an
inflammatory statement. However, we
hold freedom of speech as our greatest
liberty. You may ask what kind of
business would dare post such a sign.
