A farmer drove to the neighbor\u2019s farmhouse and knocked on the door. A boy, about 9, opened the door. \u201cIs your Dad or Mum home?\u201d said the farmer. \u201cNo, they went to town.\u201d \u201cHow about your brother, Howard, is he here?\u201d \u201cNo, he went with Mum and Dad.\u201d The farmer stood there for a few minutes, shifting from one foot to the other, and mumbling to himself. \u201cI know where all the tools are, if you want to borrow one, or I can give Dad a message.\u201d \u201cWell,\u201d said the farmer uncomfortably, \u201cI really wanted to talk to your Dad. It\u2019s about your brother Howard getting my daughter Suzy pregnant.\u201d The boy thought for a moment\u2026. \u201cYou would have to talk to Dad about that. I know he charges $500 for the bull and $50 for the pig, but I don\u2019t know how much he charges for Howard.\u201d<\/p>\n
