The Texas Rancher and the Bureaucrat<\/strong><\/div>\n

An arrogant government inspector from the Department of Agriculture goes out to a Texas ranch to check on compliance. He struts up to the old rancher and says, \"I need to inspect your property, your livestock, and your crop yields right now. I have federal authority.\"<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The old rancher nods slowly and says, \"Well, son, you can go ahead and look around, but I'd stay out of that pasture right over there.\"<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The inspector puffs out his chest, whips out his badge, and snaps, \"Mister, I am with the United States government! Do you see this badge? This badge means I can go wherever I please, on any piece of land in this country, and nobody questions me!\"<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The rancher just shrugs, spits his tobacco, and walks away.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A few minutes later, the inspector lets out a blood-curdling scream and comes tearing across the field, running for his life. Right behind him is the rancher\u2019s massive, furious prize-winning bull, gaining on him with every stride. The inspector is terrified, crying, and clearly about to get trampled.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The old rancher drops his fence pliers, runs to the fence line as fast as he can, and yells at the top of his lungs:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
