The Smart Pig

A man was driving through the countryside when he noticed a farm with a very unusual sight: a pig with a wooden peg leg walking around the yard. Intrigued, the man pulled his car over, walked up to the farmhouse, and knocked on the door.

A proud farmer answered. The visitor asked, "Excuse me, sir, but I couldn't help but notice your pig out there. Why does he have a wooden leg?"

The farmer’s face lit up. "Oh, that’s no ordinary pig! That is a very special animal. Let me tell you about him. Last year, I was out plowing the field when my tractor flipped over. I was pinned underneath, suffocating. That pig ran all the way from the barn, dug me out with his snout, and dragged me to safety. He saved my life!"

"Wow, that's incredible!" the visitor said. "But why the wooden leg?"

The farmer continued, "Wait, there's more! Just three months ago, our house caught fire in the middle of the night. That pig broke through the kitchen door, woke up the whole family, and made sure we all got out safely. He's a hero!"

"That is truly an amazing pig," the visitor agreed. "But you still haven't told me why he has a wooden leg."

The farmer looked at the visitor like he was crazy. "Well, look here, fella. A pig that special? You don't eat him all at once!"
