Slightly smaller crowd today. Market was up in Alfalfa and cornstalks and down in Grass and Straw. Grass quality and prices saw a wide spread across the board. Straw demand was weaker while demand for Cornstalks was strong. More orders this week from further west as local hay supply continues to shrink. Thanks for coming out! See ya next Thursday at 12:30.

Warm day for a sale. Market was up overall after a weeks hiatus. Alfalfa was up slightly with mostly 2025 hay and 2026 first cutting along with a few loads of 2026 second cutting. Grass quality was down overall with prices reflecting accordingly. Cornstalks were steady to slightly higher. Light test on straw with one load of new straw bringing $167.50 and 2025 tops and bottoms bringing lower. Good buying crowd, thanks for coming out. See you next week @ 12:30.

A woman went to the Doctor’s office where she was seen by one of the new doctors. After about 4 minutes in the exam room, she burst out screaming as she ran down the hall. An older doctor stopped her and asked what the problem was, and she told him her story. After listening, he had her sit down and told her to go relax in another room. The older doctor marched down the hallway to the back where the first doctor was and demanded, “What’s the matter with you? Mrs. Terry is 63 years old, she had two grown children and several grandchildren, and you told her she was pregnant?!” The new doctor continued to write on his clipboard and without looking up said, “Does she still have the hiccups?"
