Today the alfalfa market was mostly steady with good quality consignment. The grass was steady to stronger with heavy volume. The quality varied. The straw sold stronger with generally good quality. The cornstalks trended lower than previous sales. We were happy to see a large and active buying crowd today.

The alfalfa market was stronger today. The average and lower quality grass was lower as many cattle feeders are busy chopping silage. The better quality grass was steady to slightly lower. We had a smaller buyer attendance today. The bedding market continues to be strong.

The 3rd brother married a woman from Detroit & said to her: When I get back from work, I want the house cleaned laundry done & food on the table. On the 1st day he didn’t see anything, & not on the 2nd or 3rd day either. On the 4th day he could see a little bit with his left eye & had just enough mobility in his right hand to make himself a sandwich.
