Market reflecting quality this week as prices seemed to lower slightly but the higher quality met a steady market. Stalks lower, straw steady and grass slightly higher as buyers look to start calves. Thanks for coming out!  See you next week at 12:30.

The Three-Way Forecast
Three farmers from different regions—one from humid Florida, one from arid Arizona, and one from the fickle Midwest—were sitting in a diner complaining about how picky the weather had been.
The Florida farmer sighed. "The weather by me is so picky, it can’t decide between a hurricane and a heatwave. Yesterday, it rained so hard on the front half of my cow pasture that the cows were swimming, while the back half was so dry the grass caught fire."
The Arizona farmer scoffed. "That’s nothing. In Arizona, the clouds are so picky they won't even form. It's so dry and hot that I saw a pack of hounds chasing a jackrabbit, and they were all walking."
The Midwest farmer just smiled and took a sip of his coffee. "You guys have it easy. Where I live, the weather is so indecisive that yesterday morning I went out to clear the driveway. I had to use a snowplow on the left side, a lawnmower on the right side, and by lunchtime, the humidity was so high the mosquitoes were wearing scuba gear just to fly."
