We had some very wet weather during our auction today which made it difficult to sell hay. Alfalfa and grass both sold lower and erratically today. Quality varied. Bedding sold steady. Have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!

The first worm in beer- dead. Second worm in wine- dead. Third worms in whiskey- dead. The fourth in mineral water- alive and healthy. The teacher asked the class, “What did we learn from this experiment?” Little Johnny responds, “Whoever drinks beer, wine or whiskey doesn’t have worms.”

The barber gets a little wooden ball from a cup on the shelf and tells the old cowboy to put it inside his cheek to stretch out the skin. When he’s finished, the old cowboy tells the barber that was the cleanest shave that he’s had in years, but he wanted to know what would have happened if he had accidentally swallowed that little ball. The barber replied, “Just bring it back in a couple of days like everyone else does.”
