The market was lower today. There were 6 loads of new alfalfa with excellent quality and sold from $117.50 - $165. The old alfalfa sold steady to weaker with the quality being mostly good. With little interest in grass hay, the grass market was weaker across the board. Cornstalks were steady today. Sales every Thursday at 12:30PM
ATTENTION: The road/bridge located just west of the Haylot is closed. Please come in from the East. The city predicts it will be reopened next week.

I have a killer jigsaw puzzle & I can’t figure out how to get started.” Her neighbor asks, “What is it supposed to be when it’s finished?” The silver haired lady says, “According to the picture on the box, it’s a rooster.” Her neighbor decides to go over & help with the puzzle. She shows him the puzzle spread all over the table. He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, and says, “First of all, no matter what we do, we’re not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster.” He takes her hand and says, “Secondly, I want you to relax. Let’s have a nice cup of tea, and then,” he said with a deep sigh… “Let’s put all the Corn Flakes back in the box.”

Today the alfalfa sold much lower. The three new crop loads were carrying moisture and had very little buyer interest. The grass sold steady to stronger on the higher quality and steady to weaker on the mid & lower quality. Bedding remains weak.
