We had several loads of new hay in today, some of which are unmarked on the report. Demand for new hay was good and the quality of the new hay was generally very good. Market for old alfalfa was off $20. Demand for grass was good, but the market trended $10- $20 lower. We had a much larger volume today. We are selling some trucks, trailers, and also a 1066 tractor. One week later, the father once again overheard his son’s prayers. “God bless Mommy, Good bye Daddy.” This nearly gave the father a heart attack. He didn’t say anything but he got up early to go to work so that he would miss all the traffic. He stayed all through lunch and dinner. Finally after midnight, he went home. He was still alive! When he got home he apologized to his wife. “I am sorry, Honey. I had a very bad day at work today.” “You think you’ve had a bad day? YOU THINK YOU’VE HAD A BAD DAY!?” the wife yelled, “The mailman dropped dead on my doorstep this morning!”
